I found these cards at the coffe shop near the office. They were on the table with all the flyers and free publications. I immediately fell in love them. You can’t tell from the scan but these babies are printed with thermography (pause for whistles and oohs and aahs). There’s something wonderful about the innocence and subtley of these cards. There sole purpose is just to pop into your life and say ‘hai’. They’re not trying to impress anyone with the graphics, or the printing, or the copywriting (especially the copywriting). But none the less, they are perfect. The use of text speak (txt speak) is what I’m most impressed with. Taking something that evolved specifically from digital communication and printing it on a business card is hilarious! These cards are text messages made real! But, unlike text messages, I get to keep these forever. I have them taped to my monitor at work to provide constant inspiration and enjoyment.
